Our olive groves in several countries around the world make Vinomatos a leading company in mechanized planting. This is the case with the thousands of hectares of olive trees planted in Portugal and Andalusia, Spain. Some plantations are now approximately 15 years old and can be visited to witness the evolution of a super-intensive olive grove.
In Portugal, Vinomatos has expanded its operations with several agricultural planting projects in the Alentejo region, particularly in the Beja district and the Aljustrel region. Two projects stand out, each involving planting over 400 hectares of olive trees using our own satellite-guided planting machine, with prior ridge-setting. In addition to the Alentejo region, our company has also provided agricultural planting services with our planting machines in northern Portugal.
