Our olive grove plantations in various countries around the world make Vinomatos a leading company in mechanized planting. This is the case with the thousands of hectares of olive trees planted in Portugal and Andalusia – Spain. Some plantations are now around 15 years old and can be visited so you can see the evolution of a super-intensive olive grove.
In Portugal, Vinomatos has expanded its area of operation, with several agricultural planting projects in the Alentejo region, namely in the district of Beja and the Aljustrel region. Two planting projects, each covering more than 400 hectares of olive trees, stand out, using our satellite-guided planting machine, with pre-prepared raised beds. In addition to Alentejo, our company has also carried out agricultural planting services with our planting machines in the northern region of Portugal.
