Vinomatos presents a new mechanized planting machine capable of revolutionizing the agricultural sector. In a single pass, the Revolution machine plants and wires: Stake | Plant (with localized irrigation), Intermediate Post, Wire, Drip Tube, and Fertilizer.
With over 30 years of experience in GPS-guided mechanized planting, Vinomatos, Inc. offers Precision Agriculture solutions that span all cycles, crops, land areas, and farm sizes. From soil preparation to harvesting, our solutions have revolutionized traditional farming practices by maximizing efficiency and productivity, reducing operational costs and input costs across different crops and equipment.
Features of the “RÉVOLUTION” Planting Machine:
The “Révolution” Planting Machine is now available on the market. This machine allows for the placement of the stake at a depth of 40 cm and the intermediate post at a depth of 70 cm. Currently, it can work on flat terrain, but in its final version, starting in March 2021, the machine will be ready to work on terrain with slopes of up to 14%.

– The Révolution Machine can perform seven tasks in a single pass, instead of the traditional method. In a single, uninterrupted pass, plant the plant, stake it, unwind the wire up to 5 times, unwind the drip line up to 3 times, and seal the plant with water pressure and the addition of liquid and/or solid fertilizer. The plant is sealed by water pressure 10 cm above the plant’s root system. The wire unwinders are mounted on the side for easy refilling. The post platform is mounted on a removable loader capable of lifting 1,700 kg and is interchangeable to save time during loading. The drip line unwinder is double-ended to avoid line downtime.
– Maintains centimeter accuracy in all directions and perfect balance, saving time by avoiding soil compaction due to repetitive passes. This reduces greenhouse gas emissions and significantly reduces CO2 emissions by up to 5-6 times compared to traditional mechanical planting machines, as Révolution’s functionality covers the entire service with just one pass. This simplifies logistics by allowing you to work with just one machine for the entire planting process.
– With the Révolution Planting Machine, the risk of plants growing without a support system is reduced, reducing costs and maximizing all resources for the winegrower. It also aims to reduce the difficulties for field operators, facilitating overall operations and thus reducing the workload required by operators during their workday.
– The machine is equipped with a satellite system for guidance. A computer receives data from several inclinometers, sensors and the virtual point that represents the zero point on the plow. The information received is analyzed and corrected before being passed on to the various controllers that manage the hydraulic functions.
– The plowshare moves laterally to maintain alignment. The upper part of the plowshare is fully removable, allowing the virtual point to be restored. The application base is equipped with a double hammer assembly, mounted on a plate that moves from front to back, which itself is mounted on a pivot that restores verticality. With each pivot movement, the height varies and is corrected by a system mounted on four feet to restore the height.
– The top of the mast is equipped with a second articulated hammer that allows for faster descent. The lower hammer drives the pile up to 40 cm, while the upper hammer operates simultaneously when the pile is driven up to 70 cm. The lower part of the plowshare is equipped with a blade that gradually lowers the soil to remove any foreign bodies, stones, etc., in the pile’s path and then raises after driving. Hydraulic wheels mounted in a parallelogram restore lateral level.
